Directions to
the University
From the West: Follow Route 50 East into Salisbury.
Take a right immediately after the bridge onto Mill Street (fifth light
in Salisbury). Continue straight through the two intersections. Do not
bear right or left. This street becomes Camden Avenue. The University
is located on the left in approximately one mile.
From the North: Follow Route 13 South into Salisbury.
Follow Business Route 13 (rather than the bypass) to the city and proceed
four miles to the campus which is located on the right.

Salisbury, MD, is approximately 30 miles west of Ocean
City, MD; 1 1/2 hours east of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge; 2 hours from
Baltimore, Washington, D.C., and Wilmington, DE; 3 hours from Norfolk,
VA; and 4 1/2 hours from New York City.

Facilities

Sea
Gull Stadium, opened in 1980, is
home for the Salisbury field hockey, football, men's lacrosse
and women's lacrosse teams. Sea Gull
Stadium features an A-Turf surface, which was installed in the summer of
2007. The stadium can hold a seating capacity for 2,500
spectators. The stadium has hosted three postseason football games, including
the 1995 and 2005 ECAC Bowl Championship game. Sea Gull Stadium has also hosted numerous
NCAA Men's Lacrosse NCAA tournament games, including the 1991 NCAA Division
III National Championship Game.
The
SU Track, resurfaced in 2003,
features an eight-lane, 400-meter oval and has hosted a number of local and regional championship meets, including
the Capital Athletic Conference championships on several occasions. The
Bermuda grass infield, one of the finest in the region. The infield used
to be home of the SU field hockey team who hosted a number of NCAA playoff games in recent years,
including the 2000 Division III Final Four.
The
Strength Room is among the
most complete weight-training facilities in Division III. In addition,
Sea Gull athletes utilize a state-of-the-art Nautilus Fitness Center also
located in the Maggs Physical Activities Center.

As a complement to the Strength Room, the
University added a new
Weight Room facility for use by varsity athletes as well as the
general student population in 2003.
The
Maggs Physical Activities Center houses the
main gym and the varsity pool. The gym, pictured, is home to the men's
and women's basketball teams and the women's volleyball squad. The facility
features a new maple wood floor, installed in August 2004, a new lighting
system, and seating capacity for 2,000
spectators.
