Salisbury, Md - Junior midfielder Linda Ackermann scored four goals and senior attacker Jessica White added three goals as #4 ranked Salisbury downed Villa Julie 22-3 in a non-conference game Thursday. Thirteen different players scored at least once for the Sea Gulls (10-2), who jumped to an early 4-0 lead and led 14-1 at halftime. Salisbury extended its winning streak to five games, while Villa Julie falls to 1-9 overall.

Four Sea Gulls - Sarah Slafkosky, Emily Dutch, Erin McCarthy and Amber Stansbury - finished with two goals apiece.  Amanda Tack, Natalie Degele and Kelly Mulligan each tallied one goal and one assist.  SU goalies Ali Goetz (1 save) and Teresa Rossbach combined for three saves in the game.

Beth Krastel, Colleen Baughman and Kim Gorsch each registered unassisted goals for Villa Julie.

Salisbury returns to action on Tuesday in the semifinal round of the Capital Athletic Confernece Tournament. The Sea Gulls are the tournament’s #1 seed and will host a yet undetermined opponent.
