Sea Gulls ranked No. 23 by NSCAA
KANSAS CITY, Kan. –
The Salisbury University women’s soccer team broke into the National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) Top 25 poll for the first time this season as the unbeaten Sea Gulls are ranked No. 23.

Salisbury (8-0-1, 4-0 Capital Athletic Conference) has won its last five games by a combined 19-3 margin which includes wins over Villa Julie, Christopher Newport and York (Pa.). In addition to being the only CAC team ranked in the NSCAA top 25 the maroon and gold are also ranked No. 4 in the Middle Atlantic region.

York (Pa.) is the only other CAC team ranked in the Mid-Atlantic region as the Spartans occupy the eighth position. The top three spots in the region are Messiah, The College of New Jersey and Swarthmore who are ranked No. 2, No. 3 and No. 18 in the nation, respectively.

The Sea Gulls return to action on Saturday, October 6, as they host University of Mary Washington at 12:30 p.m. at the SU Soccer Complex.
