ST. MARY'S CITY, Md. -
The Salisbury University No. 3 doubles team of sophomores Hannah Parsons and Robyn Wendell were named to the All-Capital Athletic Conference first team as the Sea Gulls claimed five of the six singles spots and the top two doubles teams on the second team.

Senior Erica Mitry, a first-team All-CAC members a year ago, was named the second team No. 1 singles this season. Sophomores Anna Marie Kable and Parsons along with freshmen Rachel Iosue and Kelly Fahrner claimed the singles No. 3, 4, 5 and 6 spots each, respectively.

The Sea Gulls also claimed the top two doubles team on the second team as senior Jenny Rosler and Mitry were honored as the No. 1 doubles team and freshman Jackie Burr and Kable garnered the No. 2 doubles spot. Rosler was a first-team member a year ago.

Salisbury finished 13-8 and 6-1 in the CAC and were the CAC runner-ups to nationally ranked University of Mary Washington. UMW swept all of the major CAC awards and placed its entire starting singles line-up on the first team and two doubles teams on the first team. The Eagles' No. 3 doubles team was named to the second team. Goucher was the only other CAC school to place a student-athlete on one of the two all-conference teams.
