No. 10 Mary Washington too much for Salisbury
SALISBURY, Md. –
With first place on the line in the Capital Athletic Conference the No. 10 ranked University of Mary Washington women’s tennis team defeated Salisbury University, 8-1, Saturday afternoon at the SU Tennis Complex.

The Sea Gulls (8-6, 4-1 CAC) received their lone win from their No. 3 doubles team of Hannah Parsons and Robyn Wendell as they took down UMW’s Priscilla Jamison and Amy Sheetz, 8-4.

The Eagles (13-2, 3-0 CAC) swept SU in singles competition in straight sets. The closest match was between Kelly Fahrner and Mary Washington’s Danika Robison as Robison won 6-4, 6-3.

The Sea Gulls return to action on Sunday, April 8 as they host Johns Hopkins at Noon and Gallaudet at 3:30 pm at the SU Tennis Complex.
